He has a certain jock-ism that makes it hard to see things from his character's point of view. I guess that same jockism is what repels people. But ben affleck and chris evans were in that lane at some point in their careers, and managed to escape it. He just needs to pick the right projects. Idunno. Smokin Aces was dope to me despite the anticlimactic ending :manny:

From Blade Trinity through now, I never cared for him nor paid attention to any of his movies outside of a general awareness that the majority of his hollywood projects all seem to flop to varying extremes (maybe recouped through foreign markets, idk). Not counting Safe House in which Denzel was clearly the appeal or Wolverine Origins (assuming that did well) in which he was barely in it.

That said, this version of Deadpool should be a home run for him. If not, :yeshrug:, shyt just wasn't meant to be for him then

@Deadpool1986 care to chime in breh?
I liked him in smoking aces and I thought he did a good job playing Wade Wilson in the Wolverine movie for the little time he was in it,I think he's a good actor, it's just that he's been typecast as the funny, clownish guy. I feel Deadpool might be his last chance though, I hope it doesn't suck.
