Is Ron Howard an underrated director?

Yeah the fact that he doesn't have a distinct voice is a knock against him. All the greats have their own voice

Funny, I was about so say that Ron Howard is Clint Eastwood without absolute highs but also without the fall-off. Both are steady hands whose films used to live or die by the story, but Eastwood had regressed greatly and Ron Howard is still just Ron Howard.
