I saw this one townhome in the burbs where every other joint nearby was 1800-2100 a month. This owner really decided to post it for 2500:russ:

There is literally nothing different compared to the others. Carpet flooring & white appliances :francis:

Some sucker will take the bait tho

Your title and post directly contradict each other, unless you intentionally searched in the hood, or tiny places :pachaha:

"This is now a luxury building. We charge luxury rates."

I saw the above play out way too many fukking times around me on the northside. Building be 100+ years old and doesn't even offer in-unit wash and dry or central air.
My girl moved out the south suburbs with me in the nick of time cause they were gonna go from 750 to 900 for a piece of shyt building where if your top floor neighbor farts you can smell it downstairs. Complete horse shyt.

My personal instance of this was when Wicker Part was getting gutted. Suddenly these apartments owned by minorities went from uninhabitable, dreadfully out-of-date units to price gouged quaint, "vintage" apartments with no changes but a management sign outside the building.

I absolutely abhor that stuff. Wonder if there's a relatively unknown law over this kind of behavior.
