To keep it funky, Ralph is kinda falling off because Ralph Lauren and all his people left the company around 2 years ago. He hasn't been CEO for a while. The dude who was the CEO of H&M & The Gap (Stefan Larsson) took over Ralph Lauren and brought all his people in. All the people who created all the power pieces that made Polo what it is (The bear knits, the snow beaches, 1992 Ski jackets, 1992 stadium, Japan anorak, and so on are gone) I recently DJ'd a random party at this mansion a couple of weeks ago. Dude who owned the mansion designed the big pony polos and was doing consultant work for them told me a lot about the company....

Yeah it's crazy how the company has completely whored out the Polo Bear sweaters like they were retro Jordans the last 2 years. They've basically been sitting on shelves because of it.

Facts, they shyt is Soccer Jerseys and most the color combos I wasn't feeling like blue and lime gren shirts and shyt. I copped one of the jerseys though that was red and black but only cause it was on sale. They shyt feel off.

If I could get any Polo in the world it would be that and the dual match polo's. Never had either of those and now thy harder to get.

No.
There just aren't rappers bragging about it while wearing "Big Pony" shirts anymore.
The biggest buyers of the clothing, "white-collar professionals" still wear the Polo line, as well as the Denim & Supply, Black Label, and RX lines.

Black label doesn't exist and purple label and denim & supply don't have much an an identity. They are just "more expensive" and "less expensive" versions of blue labeled polo. And RRL and D&S came out during some of the worst years financially in RL history. They just aren't making any impact and d&s is Macy's "up 70% off" status regularly.

I have bookcases full (serving as shelves) of RL, those two lines just haven't had any impact like core blue label.
