remember when DIDDY ran crying to the court how LYOR stole 112 like a thief in the night

More than likely a reference to Puff/Bad Boy getting extorted HEAVY by Henchman and his crew who Were some real street motherfukkas that wanted to get into the industry and saw how "easy" it was to siphon money out of these studio gangstas.
It's like mafia tactics where a local business will get extorted by the mafia and as a result, that business doesn't get completely destroyed every other day, customers aren't getting harassed and the business owner doesn't turn up missing. Some of these organized crime families will own a trash hauling company and then force business owners to use their service, or else, which is basically extortion.
In the rap game, a (powerful enough) street crew will look to diversify their alleged illegal activities by doing work as bodyguards for rappers/singer and in exchange, these artists don't have to deal with these same crews making their lives a living hell out in these streets.
