Even after 2011 ull get a banger every once in awhile

Havoc can still do that too I wish rza could still do that but I think rza completely lost it:snoop:maybe not lost it but the beats he chooses are:trash:his Taste in music changed

breh, props for posting this. I've been playing this shyt nonstop. I've never played a Papoose song this much in my life lol. This has to be illest beat he's ever rapped on for solo material

Your post makes me remember why I signed up for The Coli in the first place - to be put onto dope shyt. Instead most of these pop fans wanna ramble about favorite posters and who got e-beef :snoop:

Yes, Premo is the GOAT producer. His run from 91-98 is awe inspiring and he as strong from 99-03. I mean sure he hasn't done his best work since then but fact of the matter is he's one of the few producers that can turn trash rappers and make them sound better than they are, even if he doesn't produce an entire album, a Premo beat is usually one of the best if not best on the album. You can't even talk seriously about the Boom Bap era, without him being the cornerstone. His longevity is only surpassed by Dr. Dre. Almost every producer that has come out the past 15 or so years has him as a major influence if not the primary influence. The only other producers I put in his class are Dr. Dre, RZA and Pete Rock.

I still don't get the criticism of "his beats all sound the same". Makes no sense. That's his TALENT. You can hand him 5 vinyl's from the 70's from different genres and he will create a beat that matches his style. That's why he is one of the best. And his ear for samples is unmatched. Listen to an original sample and you'll be dumbfounded how he figured out crafting a beat with it. Top 3 GOAT without question.
