Stats won't tell the story because it is much less likely to be reported.

I seen pedophilia on both side. I've known men in their twenties dating younger girls.

My little cousin was 16 and was dating a guy that was 23 or 24.

Women do it just like men do.

I know someone that was in her mid twenties like 24 or 25 she got pregnant by a high schooler.

He was like a junior in high school about to have twins with this broad.

Now they have 3 kids. I don't understand how people can do this.

I'm thinking age doesn't matter to you? Do you realize you are raping this child even though it's consensual?

I'm in my early 30's and if a man younger than me approaches I feel weird.

I guess they feel like it's ok to be cradle robbers. :yeshrug:

Thanks for mentioning both sides. I honestly have zero problem speaking on pedophilia in the black community. I just do not like how both sides are not told. There are both male and female molesters. We also don't shed light on the fact that there kids molesting other kids because of what they saw in their home.

I wonder what some of these dudes response would be if it happens to their daughters? Will they tell them to shut the fukk up and stop making the black man the boogeyman. In most of the tumblr posts, black men weren't even referenced, "men" or "male relatives" were used so how are these posts an agenda of black feminists. It's not like it's an article featured HuffingtonPost, but just posts circulated amongst a community of black women on Tumblr. I remember being 12/13 being approached by older men in my hood. Dudes knowing I was way younger than them, but they would still try to say something. I would dress in baggy clothes just to try to hide my body because I thought maybe I was too developed. But that wasn't the case, because I wasskinny. Too this day, I try not to dress in fitting clothes because I'm still scared of male attention. I could have told my mom or dad, but I was embarrassed. I thought it was my fault.

It's a shame that some of you are so selfish that you would ignore issues like this in our community. For the most of you don't even do a damn thing for our community, but criticize black people, especially women on a damn forum. Like where's your non-profit organizations, what volunteer work have you done, what organizations have you donated, what have you done to support a black business or a black person? Probably don't do shyt, but talk shyt. But spew the same "woe is me"shyt.

In the hood in the 90's down south it was pretty prevalent.

You can blame that on the no snitching type culture...

Unfortunately I've got home boys who were technically rapists because they were 19-20-21 fukking my 15-16 year old classmates...

shyt made me salty as fukk and I remember thinking that when I got older I was gonna do the shyt they were doing to help me get over the fact that they were stealing all the girls but when I actually got older I realized it felt lame even trying to Holla at a mentally immature chick so I couldn't even stomach doing it.

But yea man before texting blew up and social media blew up you pretty much had to be caught in the act or get the girl to confess that yall was fukking.

Maybe those cases of sexual abuse, in the black community, don't get reported which distorts those statistics. And why always the

deflection to white people?!?! This is the number one issue that womanists complain about all the time; black men extenuating their

experiences, and not listening to their concerns. Why can't there be a healthy, open dialog about this subject? Why so defensive?

Because they know they'd bang out a "hot" 14 year old If they knew they wouldn't be caught :scusthov:...The funny thing is while it may not be our general idea of pedophilia (i.e. pre-pubescent children) there is something VERY disturbing about grown men who would go at a 12-17 year old....Hell, i'm 28 and I find it hard to even hold a conversation with a 19-20 year old....we are in different phases of life...we have nothing in common...that is not attractive.

These clowns hate to address REAL issues. Only issues they wanna address is ones that involve the white man in some one, IE, police brutality or inter racial dating.

superiority complex, breh. "Only the white man is a pedophile..." :camby: nikkas kill me out here thinking that white folks have some sort of monopoly on vile, deviant behavior. But let a 25 year old nikka come home with they 13 year old...then they ready to pull the choppers out. I don't understand whats so hard about being a virtuous person. :manny:

The people who run in here to dismiss those women and their experiences are the reason why pedophiles and rapists are enabled and still allowed to go to family functions like it's all good

Internalized misogyny and the posts in here talking about women pedophiles are no better than the people who try to justify police brutality by posting videos of black people going nuts and "looting".

I do remember chicks in middle school talking about older dudes they liked which made it like they were doing things on the low and I heard rumors as well and in high school I saw them actually dating older men.

At first I thought they were single but then I started noticing that on the phone they were flirting and then I notice older dudes pick them up from school.

I also saw a couple of them talk about trying to get with older guys as well by sneaking off to certain events.

When I got older they tried to come at me and I was like hell nah.

Other than that I dont know much about this.

Another thought,

When I talk about maintaining good mental health, I'm not specifically talking about medication and shyt.

Communicating freely and honestly is the most therapeutic way to get such an issue resolved. One thing I noticed from this thread is the obvious "victim shaming" going on but for those on the other side, if there has NOT been a good way to discuss this honestly...what did you honestly expect? Black men are looked at as being dominant, powerful, terrifying, etc...even by those on the white side of the fence. How easy is it for a man who has to adopt this image at a young age to talk about something like this?...of course there is going to be mass deflection to avoid loss of masculinity and justify any action that can retain that masculinity even at the cost of sounding barbaric..but you must be able to look at it from all angles. Most don't even talk about it, they just tap out and go silent...same thing for our black women, which is why we have so many of our sisters walking around with beautiful smiles carrying on but have absolutely broken spirits which translates into dysfunction primarily in the relationship arenas. I speak on grand terms because this issue IS MASSIVE and like I said GENERATIONAL. When we are able to look each in the eye and talk about this frankly, we can to either clean out the bullshyt and begin to set order within our families.

I think that people are simply projecting their personal situations and thoughts onto the rest of the world. Abuse is not prevalent or the majority behavior in any community, much less the black community. Africa is the only continent that has universal law of 18 years being the age of consent. In Mexico, a woman is considered an adult at 15. In the U.S, many states are legislated under the age of 18. There's no evidence that suggests the black community is this cesspool of molestation and abuse. Granted, it does happen, and no one would ever argue that point either.

Also there is no gender exclusivity to abuse. Women are just more likely to get away with it, and that's the only difference.

In general, molestation or abuse of minors is a rare event. I think the Internet exaggerates the percentages of these things because the anonymity of the Internet brings more of these type of people together; victims and abusers alike. So in their mind, the discussion or allusion to abuse more frequently than in real life makes one believe that it's a bigger problem than it is.

This thread :mjcry: :scust:

If you can relate to a 11-17 year old on a sexual level because they've got "ass and titties" and you're over the age of 20, please get checked by a therapist because there is something really fukking wrong with your head.

And if you come near my kids, I'm blasting you in your face.
