Hyakkimaru's father in dororo is the WOAT in anime for sure
He made a pact with 48 demons to ensure his kingdom thrived. In return, the demons took basically everything from hyakkimaru: his face, his limbs, his senses, his internal organs, ability to speak, etc.
As he STILL manages to beat some of the demons in this state, he undoes some of the pacts and gets some parts of himself back. If the demons die, the demons can't keep their side of the bargain with hyakkimaru's father, so his father decided to send his army after hyakkimaru to prevent his son from messing with the demons, even though they robbed hyakkimaru of everything
