But we have animal traits. The point is to subdue those traits. Like Asuar rising above sobek. Also how do you explain hypergamy?

We subdued those traits several tens (if not hundreds) of thousands of years ago, not recently, via evolution.

Hypergamy is an expression of monogamy which was explained in the link I provided earlier.

This is false. Monogamy is the 'norm' because of evolution. Polygamy spread due to religion, especially in Africa......

Sooner or later, y'all gonna stop parroting that 'humans are just animals and monogamy is not normal' garbage.

:snooze:
Didn't say it was fact said it was my opinion...bruh posted a global map in this thread....humans are animals....we are mammals same as a dolphin and cows...our brains and the ability to recognize the spirit are the only things that separate us.... Know its hard to believe we in the same family as stinky ass pigs and cows....but we are....what a book says the world does and the world actually does are two different things....love Diop by the way....I mean after our descendants weren't slave just migrant workers according to a county in Texas right? You're not going to interpret or look at the world the same way because your not that writer...An authors job is to communicate a story or ideas effectively as possible.... I could have all the info Diop wrote and it would be completely different book, why?....because I'm not Diop.....the concept of monogamy I'm willing to bet you was started by some insecure dude on the Council of Nicea...he prolly could only get one wife....he saw everybody else with more than one wife and was salty so he pushed the agenda....
