I was doing some research and I found that only about 12 animals tops in all the world are monogamous. Humans are listed as one of them, but evidence shows that this is a recent development. So do you guys think that monogamy was just made up by our society? Or are we normalay monogamous at this stage?

But what about the fact that most male animals try to spread their seed as much as possible?

Yea it definetly is.....reasoning being it is championed in western societies..... The majority of the world practices polygamy.....monogamy is celebrated in the west because of the money aspect I think....When you get married its money...to get the union recognized by the state costs money...for her to change her name legally costs money....kids cost money.... Divorces cost money... Life insurance costs money....see what I'm getting at....all these industries are funded by marriage....a woman wants to get married so a ring is needed....the jeweler makes money off her desire..... Me personally marriage is cool...ain't shyt out in them streets.....when you have had your fun and are tired of it you naturally want more...that's just the progression of life.....

Sexual health and disease comes to my mind as well. But when looking historically ancient Egyptians kemetians/ Aztecs / olmecs / myans many other cultures had sex fine lived longer and holistically cared for minor ailments they performed surgeries. But once our pale fellows from frigid climates came round things got out of hand. Even in modern times with that aids epidemic/ black people were find having sex amongst themselves when government and cacs intervened things changed. But if you think the higher ups don't have cures for all the shyt the gov. Puts out you'd be mistaken. The gov. Like the church has to control you! And for a mass of people who can technically have sex with each other for free it's hard to control that. So you get ( adultery , fornication, diseases,) fear, guilt and real diseases they put out control the masses.
