It's a few things, I think he's always trying to answer questions the correct way and he tries hard to make it seem intelligent and well thought.

I don't think it's a big deal. And his favorite thing to say is "Like I said before"

Floyd's a smart dude so he picks his words carefully with the media because we already know how they get down, so it seems like he is stumbling at times.

Parts of the interview floyd is defending that he jumps from topic to topic, saying that's just how he is... to me that's just normal, lots of people jump from topic to topic.... I think he really does fear about getting side affects.

I wish this isn't his last fight and gets the 50.

Very true, I also think it's natural when you are talking about a situation that is very emotional, for your brain to "come up for air" and you skip to a lighter subject before going back in. I can also understand why he is fearful. He is near the end and probably feels too many fighters get lured back in even when they don't love the sport anymore. See Mosley v Mayorga 2. I'm not so sure he goes for 50 with the Roger brain damage situation being so close to him. He's done enough and even though I really want to see 50-0, I can't be mad at him for leaving on his terms.

you must have not seen floyd interview before....he has always stuttered and always struggled. He can barely read.

Some of his fav quotes

"Like-li-lik---like I said before...a belt don't make me"

"4--4--48 have tried...48 came up short"

"once---once--once again...no pictures"

"W--welll-well once again I'm talkin to some--someone who is a man of many talents but a---a master of none"

That's floyd

That's sad that Roger may be sicker then we thought and that the punches to his head had something to do with it. And while I hope it never happens it would be a cruel irony for Floyd (perhaps the best defensive fighter ever) to end up with brain damage when he ends up fighting.

I think he just chooses his words carefully and has a lot more on his mind then people give him credit for.

My dad stutters and he has a degree in engineering, can do any math problem you put in front of him.

Don't mean shyt, cuz he still can't make $300,000,000 in 36 minutes.

He's always sounded like this.

And of course, even though he rarely ever gets hits cleanly, boxing for decades is going to take its toll on anyone.

Yeah, he's always been like that but on a side note; I never understood participating in contact sports that are almost guaranteed to turn your brain into mush.
