Just started rewatching this. I never finished all the eps first time around (like 8 years ago), I got to the 5th season I think.

The show is fantastic. The 60s is a fascinating period in general, there's something about the outdated attitudes and the shyt people in that era went through that shaped the world we live in now to a large extent. It was a time of change but it still carried a lot of baggage.

Great characters, great debauchery.

Easily in the top three GOAT shows of all time. Everything from top to bottom was deeply considered on every creative and technical level. Just a beautiful show all around, I’ve watched it a couple of times all the way through.

I liked the first season...it was good...but the overall story didn’t captivate my attention enough to watch past that

I “discovered” it by accident...was flipping thru some channels then seen the main character at war...thought it was a war movie at first then I seen the rest of the ep...it was confusing cause it was a later episode in the season...but still caught my attention...I don’t wanna say much cuz it would be spoilerish even tho this an old thread...but that episode piqued my interest enough to download the first season and start from ep 1
