Long as you realize it's pretty much a show about nothing and the only interesting thing about it is the backdrop then watch it. If your looking for any kind of story line or anything like that :mjlol:

It's honestly a great show. And this is coming from someone who hated on it for years. At first I just put it on as background noise while I did hw :russ:. If you just have patience and continue watching you start connecting with all the characters in weird ways. Used to think it was complete trash too:ld:

Just started rewatching this. I never finished all the eps first time around (like 8 years ago), I got to the 5th season I think.

The show is fantastic. The 60s is a fascinating period in general, there's something about the outdated attitudes and the shyt people in that era went through that shaped the world we live in now to a large extent. It was a time of change but it still carried a lot of baggage.

Great characters, great debauchery.

It's not for everyone. There's no black main characters, but then again it takes place in the 60s on Madison Avenue and white suburbia so that makes sense. If Don Draper hooks you in episode 1, stay on. His arc is CRAZY.

Also, it's low key one of the funniest TV dramas ever made. And it's a strange kind of humor that sneaks up on you when you least expect it.

It’s alright, better than most

The last season was a bit weak but they had to wrap the show up.

It didn’t reach some of the promise of the first two seasons, but was a great show. I don’t know if it will age well with binging. A lot of the fun was trying to forecast the plot week to week.

Don Draper might be the coolest TV character ever as well.

Like I wish I had that style and confidence :mjcry:
He only had style and confidence In short burst. In hindsight he was Messy and had his fair share of L’s. On the low Roger was more that dude than Don, but he was a preppy rich kid so why should he take L’s in life.

The show started its dip when

Don and Megan officially become a couple.

There's still great moments after that, especially with Pete and Peggy. But the show goes from averaging A/A- to B+.

True enough. Roger was a funny ass dude too, Draper was more serious.
