Farrakhan is conservative. The term "far right" is used to scare people away from embracing conservatism. Using "far" in front of anything is a mind control strategy.

Farrakhan and the NOI, have done more to uplift and repair the black community than any of your favorite liberal politician. I can articulate my grievances about the minister better than many, but if you are black and can not recognize the beauty of a man such as the minister, then you are simply a kewn, a sambo and/or Tom. Its that simple.

Stop acting, you puccy. No black man in their right mind would call Farrakhan a "bigot", knowing the history for black people in this country. We see you, Bergerstein.

lmao he hates cacs and jews what am I supposed to call him, snowflake?

talking about p*ssy and you're having a fit over word usage

First off he "hates" no group. He calls out who needs to be called out.

Secondly, you can call him a liberator, a man who has dedicated his whole life to restoring his people as best he knows.

Show some respect. But since youre not black, I shouldnt be surprised.

You know his heart.

I don't buy into his bullshyt and I'm not sorry for it. I'm not a fan of his politics or his cult. If some black people find him helpful socially or spiritually good for them that's awesome.

Stop trying to redefine words and attack people who disagree with you for a change. You write like the same people you're supposedly against.

I'm black so quit your bullshyt and trying to cast me as some evil jooo.

Ideologically he is definitely on the right.

Farrakhan being on the right ideologically only doesn’t make intuitive sense because of the coalition building done by Republicans in the US that has been entirely based on white identity politics since the Southern Strategy.

But issue by issue he would grade out conservative and Black identitarian

He's a fairly traditional conservative, not the neo-cons but literally like, a late goldwater conservative who's got a few decent takes that a lot of other people have shared as well (the FBI is bad, the power structure relies on the status quo to maintain hierarchy, black america is still lowest on the poll) but he's most certainly a very very conservatively minded black nationalist and identitarian. He's outright abandoned the idea of communal betterment aside from the wrote pursuit of economic power. But he serves a real purpose, the US government destroyed our leaders like cattle and we're left with the few flawed ones that we've got to help us find a sense of identity and a connection to the past. He's used, unfairly in many cases despite his myriad bigotries, to paint a broad and unfair critique and characterization of black leaders and the black power movements survivors. He's utilized as a false equivalency whenever we have a genuine critique of something like the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, White Supremacy, etc etc. And honestly, lets be real, Farrakhan is more of what we look at as a classical huckster more than any kind of ideologically consistent being with inlaid and deeply held beliefs. I personally find him to be an intensely cynical person.

Like everybody from that era that, well, survived, he's a polarizing and complicated figure who can't be distilled down simply and I don't begrudge or damn people who look to him as some form of guidance. It's just a different era, it's impossible to be that. And for the people he provided that place of meaning and a sense of self I can only hope it was a springboard into a more healthy and well rounded acceptance and empowerment of themselves as a black individual.

But the nikka killed Malcolm X so, fukk him :yeshrug:

There's a cruel irony that TLR is now taking guidance on antisemitism from Farrakhan right now. Above everything else, that is what got him on the SPLC list AFAIK

Yes.

While he may be for a certain kind of Black nationalism, it is one that is rigidly hierarchical, patriarchal, and firmly capitalist (as in, it is in favor of the capitalist mode of production).

He also frequently aligns with reactionary groups and figures, like the Church of Scientology.
