overtraining is exactly what it sounds like.. over training. training too much. you're more likely to overtrain if you're under-eating because, obviously, your body isn't getting enough energy to recover. generally, though, it doesn't fukking matter if you're cutting, bulking or maintaining. this is common sense.

similarly, there's no difference between cardio and other strenuous physical activity when it comes to overtraining :wtf: the things that contribute most are lifting heavy and to failure; training for long periods of time without rest; high training frequencies; undereating; lots of interval training (circuits, HIIT). basically anything that overtaxes your CNS and creates long-term fatigue.


TL;DR - You're both wrong and don't understand how the human body works.

You can tell people never worked out or trained hard in their life. Over training is real. I've been there, hit a point in training where I was feeling like :mj: and then :flabbynsick: within a week period. Took me a month to recover. I was young and didn't respect the human body like I should have. Rest between training is just as important as the training itself.

I can't see how bron is over training unless he is do a crazy amount of workouts with no rest and not eating right.
