Kobes name comes up Twice, Bron is on there 21 times, the top 10 has him 7 times. So, remind me when Kobe has proven he can do what Bron does.

u were sayin? :lolbron:

Kobe with 3 near triple doubles averaging 16 PPG, 9 RPG, 13 APG on 59% shooting since he made the shift to PG. Basically he could put up LeBron's numbers if he wanted to be more aggressive in his scoring and taking his assists down a bit.

Kobe Bryant is the most talented basketball player in NBA history. He can do whatever he wants if he puts his mind to it. He can score be the best scorer in the league, or he can be the best defender in the league, or he can be the best PG. He can do ANYTHING.

Uh, click the link.

It's 30pts, 10asts, 9rebs is the criteria.

He's not doing what LeBron does, he's either in all out scoring mode or all out passing mode. When LeBron actually played PG in 2009/2010 he averaged 32ppg, 10apg and 7rpg for a month while Mo Williams was out. So, where are the 30pt/10ast games from Kobe, because that is what makes Bron who he is.

Nobody else in the league does what LeBron does, maybe Derrick Rose comes the closest, but nobody balances elite scoring and passing like him.

Is this thread even serious? You know Jordan could've been the greatest point guard of all time had he decided to pass more.

uhh click the link :heh:

Ethan Skolnick: Miami Heat

“We were in Dallas,” Wade said, laughing as he recalled a Jan. 2 game in which he shot 9-for-21 and had the ball in his hands, far from the basket, with the clock winding down. “I was like, ‘Why did I just shoot that?’ But I had four seconds. I was like, ‘Damn.’ You have no choice when you have that much time. It would have looked bad.”

Well you forgot to mention who was on Lebron team during those Cleveland years. I didn't miss a Cleveland game. Lebron naturally stat pad because there was no one else that was able to because they didnt have another star. Now Kobe's current team has Superstars, Stars, and former MVP's on it. Kobe has to share to right the ship and its working. Hard to do when you guarding PG's and having to guide and share with people with huge egos who used to be the man on their former teams.

he's shooting 59% during this stretch.....he could score alot more if he needs to......lets watch this run play out

I think by the time the Miami games comes around the Lakers will be riding a 9 game winning streak and Kobe will have an average of around 25ppg 8rpg 9apg

You gotta remember that you are comparing a 34 year old in his 17th year to a guy who is in his prime. Kobe in his prime could put up Bron's numbers IF HE WANTED. His game right now should let you know that Kobe can do anything he sets his mind to.

You would think that for a guy who claims to be so knowledge about basketball that he would realize that stats NEVER tell the whole story. Kobe is showing you right now that the SAME PLAYER can put up 30/5/5 and 16/13/9. SKILL MATTERS. But scheme and how the team plays also matters. Bron is a great player without a doubt. Best in the game right now and has the potential to be the GOAT if he wins 6+ titles.

HOWEVER, I say all that not because of his stats. I say that because his a runaway locomotive with incredible court vision. His guady stats are aided by playing in a system that is conducive to filling up the assist category. Minus the assists he's still great but he becomes more ordinary.

Kobe could average 27/7/7 if he wanted when he was younger. There was one year where he averaged 30/7/6 in the triangle. If he was playing that year in an offense like this he coulda put up 30/7/8.

How many times are you going to post that? You got a learning disability or something, if you want attention go outside and do cartwheels.

There's a thread on it, you posted it in here, do you think flooding the forum with it will make anyone care?
