Kings character design seems to have been influenced by Tiger Mask. This kinda does make him the GOAT fictional wrestler.

In the 1980s the Thing broke away from the Fantastic Four and took some time for himself, traveling to other planets, meeting new people and working as professional wrestlers. While other comic heroes might have only done a single match or a run-in in the pro wrestling world, the Thing spent a good amount of time there — even bringing in other heroes like Astro Boy, the Eternals’ Ikaris and even the Marvel also-ran D-Man.

I read somewhere that Craig Marduk from Tekken was modeled after Nathan Jones :deadrose:

Of all the fukkin' pro wrestlers that the Tekken people could have chosen to model their new wrestler character after.....they chose random-ass Nathan Jones :deadrose:

Most nikkas probably don't even remember his time in the 'E....they might as well have modeled him after Mordecai or some shyt

This is true...but Marduk is that dude nonetheless, in a rare example of surpassing the source material
