Is Kevin Hart funny?

He's obviously funny. As a matter of fact, he's a lot funnier than a lot of these comedians that ya'll overrate just because they're older and have been doing it for longer or not as big as he is right now. He's one of the people that are naturally funny - he can take a bad joke and deliver it in a way that's hilarious. I love the people that are saying Patrice O'Neal just because it's the popular thing to do. I love Patrice as much as the next guy but his stand-up was never that great - it was his interviews that were funny. The fact that this hasn't been said means that most of you haven't even seen it but are just saying it just to sound like you know what you're talking about. Katt Williams? Gtfoh please - he was the fad of the month for a while and dropped off the face of the earth.

Thats not it though. There are a number of comedians that I don't find funny. When that is the case usually either other people don't find them funny and when I say other people I mean people that I hang around or people I encounter at work, in the neighborhood etc etc......or they'll be comedians that I don't find funny that others do find funny but I understand how the jokes make them laugh. They don't make me laugh, but I get it. I get what other people see. With Kevin Hart I just don't get it. Its like I'm surrounded by people who are afraid to admit that he isn't funny. Now understand that I understand I'm not the emperor of funny and I know I don't get to declare who is and isn't funny. But that nikka Kevin Hart ain't funny to me .

Comedy is one of the most subjective forms of entertainment there is, so no matter how "good" a form of it is, it's never gonna be totally universal.

Thats because his jokes are redundant. He tells the same joke in a different way. Aight.....I'm done.....let me stop because I'm starting to hear myself and it sounds like I'm hating on the n!gga when I do genuinely like ole buddy. LMAO...its just.....it's like someone is telling a really bad joke and everyone else thinks its funny and I'm the only person that didn't have the laughing gas or something.

i think he is inconsistently funny. i can totally understand the polarizing effect he has on audiences. some of his standup just does not make me laugh, but then i go back to his appearnace on foxxhole radio, and he was killing a room full of comedians with insults that clearly he was just making up on the spot. the man has natural talent, but i dont always care for his material, if that makes any sense.

Patrice was classic every time he stepped on o&a, you're right, his stand up wasnt the best.

Same with artie lange, stand up is weak, but perfect foil on stern.
