Now granted, I think his flow is trash and his music unlistenable, but he is the most naturally talented of the 2010 New School and yet in terms of popularity, finances and industry influence (fukk a grammy), he's a distant third...way behind Drake and J.Cole.

All things equal, Kendrick should be far ahead of anyone right now but he isn't. Why's that?:jbhmm: It's pretty easy to see actually: this nikka doesn't tour, hardly does any features, no mixtapes in addition to taking a millions years between albums that no one actually listens to (check the numbers, they don't lie :upsetfavre:). He hasn't done anything to suggest that he's actually making plans to solidify and/or expand his legacy and future in the game. He has ZERO ambition.

With disingenuous cacs and misguided hotep nikkas fawning all over him, Kendrick should be the undisputed number 1 but he's busy resting on his laurels. :francis: Critical acclaim don't mean shyt, breh. :heh: :russ:

He reminds me of some smart kid who really should be at Harvard but the nikka never applied himself so he's now stuck at some second rate state school. :francis:

With that said, Kendrick's next album is do-or-die for him. It will determine whether or not he'll be relevant in the next 15 years or just another Nas....someone who everyone respect but he isn't a real player in the game.

If he creates TPAB part 2, it's over for him. :francis:

Please dont bring up Nas in these Duckie convos.

Also, Nas is more successful than Drake.

Kendrick is a media creation. His whole last project was like a Terrace Martin/Kamasi Washington Mixtape.

Whats his sound? Whats his vision?

He has none.

That Nas shot is wild unnecessary and don't even make no sense :francis:
