On topic Reeves has a more than solid history of action movies going back to Point Break, Speed, Johnny Mnemonic, etc. His track record was iffy in the genre until the Matrix put him on a higher level. I wouldn't call him the greatest but taking everything he's done all together I'd say he's easily top 10 with a case to be made for top 5.

Bruce Willis is up there he was maybe the best actual actor out of all of 'em and nobody played a complete scumbag better than Willis.

The Last Boy Scout is very underrated. I think it should be considered a classic, it's that good. The action but also the story and especially the dialogue. I made a thread on it a while back.

But I would argue Stallone was done as an action star in the 80s. Arnold was basically done after True Lies.

So since 1994, who really has the resume to battle Reeves, other than maybe Tom Cruise and his Mission Impossible movies?
