Duncan...sure..

Parker is in the mist of the worst season in his career outside of his rookie year and he is "attracting attention"?

Manu hardly ever looks to shoot anymore and Marco is slowly eating into his minutes and his role and he is "attracting attention"

Man do some of you dudes watch basketball AT ALL...

Parker been horrible all year...been hurt all year...not even shooting 35% this series...not even averaging 6 points a game this series...but he is "attracting attention"

Clippers literally standing around begging for him to shoot

Parker and Manu have been effectively retired since around December...

Play with injured point guards who struggle to give you 10 points a game brehs
No, do you watch basketball? What we are seeing from the Spurs is almost like a mirror image of what we saw from last year's championship season. All of the Hall of Famers at some point during the playoffs led the team to victory with their individual efforts, no matter how unproductive they looked in previous games. Popovich knows his players and counts on teams to underestimate them. He wants teams to have the same expectations that you have so they can rip their throats out and hold up another championship. He has the ultimate confidence in his players. It's a formula that has won Pop 5 championships.

Nope. Leonard has to grow into his leadership role first. He did proved he can carry a team in last season finals and also leading the team in this season playoff. I want him to be consistent offensively as the first option in more games. If he can do that, then I will consider him as a superstar.

I remember that Aztec team. It was him and Billy White that I was sure would come into wreck shop in the NBA....they had another forward that I thought was clean too. I can't remember dude's name though.

malcolm thomas.

low-key one of the best in-game dunkers for the few years he tip-toed around the league.:whew:

Is it just me or does it seem like for all the winning the Spurs do they seem like they are having the least fun

Kwahi has the look on his face like he's actually working a 9-5 sometimes

You don't have to showboat but goddamn these Spurs teams are emotionless

kawhai always looked like that.

only player on that team i can think of with a colorful track record is danny green.

So the only standard you can think to hold Kawhi Leonard to is Lebron, who has been the best player in basketball going on 7 or 8 years...

But then you telling me Kawhi is not a superstar:yeah ok:

Set the standard for a player at Lebron James but then say he is not a superstar breh :yeah ok:

He can't be a number 1 option:dahellwhat:

Dude is out here legit guarding and locking down 3 positions on defense...and you need him to be a no 1 option on offense:dahellwhat:

If we held stephen curry and james harden to that same standard...you got to be the best defender on your team...be able to effectively guard at least 3 positions, AND be the no 1 scoring option on your team...these dudes would be considered scrubs...

In between dunking and knocking down 3's and knocking down fadeaways and knocking down and 1 jumpshots...did you see what Kawhi Leonard did to Chris Paul?

You want me to post Chris Paul averages against steph in the playoffs last year:dahellwhat:

lebron was not the best player in the league for no 7 or 8 years

He's not a star in the sense of being the typical NBA alpha male who is prone to offensive outbursts like KD or Bron...he is a top 3 two way player.

I personally would like to see how he looks getting the touches that Duncan was getting in his prime....

So is Steph a superstar? The league tells me he is but night in and night out he can barely defend his own position let alone 3...

So is Harden a superstar? He still one of the worst defenders in basketball so I don't think he is a candidate to guard even 1 position effectively...

And if you telling me these guys are not superstars then how did they become the top two candidates for the MVP...

He not at the Lebron Durant level but you can't even give a real basketball reason why is not...all you can say is "he just not"...:yeah ok:

Leading his team in scoring right now and doesnt play with a westbrook, irving, caliber offensive teammate
I can argue that the offensive system he plays in is better than any high scoring teammate :mjpls:

Crazy what one FinalsMVP does. I remember after Dirk won in 2011 people were calling him the GOAT power forward

Now nikkas calling a dude who averaged 16 and 2 a superstar :mjlol:
