Is Kaepernick the best QB out of his class?

Last year I was big on Dalton, loved him before the draft, but God damn it looks like Harbaugh hit the homerun of homeruns with the Kaep pick.

But he is the question, is he the best QB of his draft class? In order of drafting

Cam Newton
Jake Locker
Blaine Gabbert
Christian Ponder
Andy Dalton
Colin Kaepernick
Ryan Mallet
Ricky Stanzi
TJ Yates
Nathan Enderie
Tyrod Taylor
Greg McElroy

Only one really giving him a run there is Cam/Dalton, I still think he's better than both.

The competition is obviously just between 3 ppl. Dalton is the worst because he has the least amount of upside

Imma say Kaep and Cam are even right now. Both have the same abilities with only differing but still equally effective running styles

I`d say Kaep is more accurate and a better decision maker than Cam. Cam turns the ball over a decent amount of Kaep really protects the thing like a champ.

I say it's close, but Kaep gets the edge because of accuracy and decision making

Cam also has to force the ball more to players not of the talent levels of the Niners. Add in the aspect of coaching, play design, and play calling, Cam under Harbaugh would be doing what Kaep is doing. Maybe even more

Was he, do we have any stats on that?

I`m pretty sure this was Kaep's 8th start, he had 12td/4int's over that stretch and a handfull of rushing TD's.

Even tho the niners are my squad, I gotta say cam is better too, at least as of now. Kaep was brought into a much better situation, but I will say that I always thought they were similar players in terms of upside. Cam literally has nothing around him tho, his run game sucks, line sucks, has one good wr, and defense is terrible.
