That's what I'm saying tho, but New York dudes ain't trying to hear it

They hear that north jersey and ny are similar and they confuse that into thinking that Jersey dudes wanna be them

Nah it's just that the culture is similar, and like u said if we travel to Cali, they couldn't tell the difference

NY and North Jersey are just separated by the Hudson river, I could fukkin see the smoke from my house in Jersey during 9/11

yea...i dont think dudes know how close it is

Yeah most Jersey folks that come to Philly to party and whatnot be on some "try WAY too fukkin hard" shyt.

Like I remember this group of nikkas was coming from a club talkin about poppin their trunk. This one nikka started SKIPPING, like a little red riding hood skip to his car talmbout "I'm goiiing to the truuuuuunk!!"

I know I was all :heh: but other nikkas was on some :stopitslime::shaq2::rudy:

He had to pass a group of dirty bearded Philly nikkas muggin like :birdman: and they finally shut the fukk up.

But I dunno since I'm from the south I'm cool with Jersey folks because they rock dreads. Besides Philly aint that much better than Jersey anyway.

:skip:

Deep in the south kickin uptop game
i don't take it as Jersey dudes wanna be like NY dudes. i take it as Jersey being another borough by proxy. Its an arbitrary border. Newark & Jersey City are closer to Manhattan than most parts of other boroughs.

Takes two minutes to get through the Holland Tunnel to JC while its a good minute to ride all the way up to the Bronx but, nikkas act :leon: because Jersey dudes are like NY dudes.

To be real I really don't think we are, to the unfamiliar ear it may sound like we all talk the same but there's a lot of differences, they don't listen to the same music as (they don't fucc wit blends and street DJ's as much), they don't dress like us, I see simularities in the swag but even that differs from city to city and borough to borough

I don't hate New Jersey or anything, but it's indirectly responsible for about 75% of the shytty indie music populating my ears on any given day, so fukk it by proxy.

(fukk Zach Braff directly. The Shins, or whatever's left of them, too.)

I'm from Jersey, born and raised and I don't even know why people hate us so much. I hated doing introductions in high school when I moved to PA because some New York nikka always had to say some slick comment. :rudy:

Yet I was still pullin their new York chicks left and right :manny:

It's whatever tho

Jersey>>>>

nikkas fear what they don't understand, hate what they can't conquer. Bring the hate we love it. I rather rep jerz than an irrelevant state. :boss:

:what: New Jersey and NY are seperated by a river, are we really that much different

Most of the famous celebrities, athletes, and musicians of NY have residences in new Jersey

North Jersey was also key in the creation of Hip Hop, home to Redman, The Fugees, and the outsiders

Anybody seriously talkin shyt about Jersey has probably never been to places like Mississippi, northern Louisiana, west Virginia, etc, those places are literally the ass hole of America

It's clear that NY dudes have some type of hatred for Jersey, probably because we can pull their bytches like nothing :manny:

I got fam in Newark they was on that Brick City documentary from a few years ago I miss NY and Jersey ready to move back nothing wrong with Jersey.

Jersey lounges and clubs>>>NY clubs.

you already know what imma say, check the signature. N.J. all muthafukkin' day, night, week, month muthafukkin' year. and I've lived in Miami for 2 years but ain't shyt comin' close to Jersey, fukk what haters gotta say.

I miss Jersey. Dont usually get any hate when I let people know, but they all do say i dont act like im from jersey. They think I'm too laid back, *shrugs*

I miss being able to get anywhere by taking side streets. You gotta take the highway if you tryna go anywhere down here (Jacksonville FL)

NYC nikka here but Jeresy is cool. :win:

Those waterfront parks on the Jeresy side of the Hudson River is dope, nice views of NYC skyline.

Jeresy City, Hoboken, etc, is no different than NYC IMO, other than JC is dead on weekends... well the part where office buildings is at least.

Not to mention the Mickey Ds is cheaper in Jeresy, I remembered I ordered something in the McD in Newark Penn Station and it was cheaper than NYC. :gladbron:

Newark is like a Real life GTA, it seems to have calm down but I remember a shootings there making the news like, every day. :damn:

Everyone is shook of Camden. :merchant:

I feel sorry for anyone who lives in Camden, sounds rough, I only passed though on the River Line train and you can sort of see how hood it is when you pass the Bus Terminal there.

jerz
i'm from east orange; and I thought newark was the roughest city in jerz until my boy in college was telling me about camden. He took me to his old hood and that was the roughest block i've ever been on. I got a lot of respect for cats that make it out of there.
