During 2004 First Round against Indiana, Pierce went 4-17 with 4 turnovers and posted a 9-7-4 line.
During 2005 First Round against Indiana, Pierce went 2-11 with 2 turnovers and posted a 12-9-5 line.
During 2008 ECSF against Cleveland, Pierce went 2-14 with 6 turnovers to post a 4-5-4 line....and later in the series went 6-17 to post a 13-5-3 line and 3-8 with 5 turnovers to post a 14-5-2 line.
During 2008 Finals against LA, Pierce went 2-14 with 3 turnovers and posted a 6-6-3 line.
And god forbid we mention the 2010 ECSF against Cleveland cause that was late in his prime....but he put up 5-17 for 13 points, 4-10 for 14 points, 4-15 for 11 points, and 3-8 for 9 points in consecutive games before finishing the series off with a 4-13 for 13 points game.
Claiming Tatum ain't on Pierce's level cause of one bad game is disrespectful, Pierce had plenty games like that.

Paul Pierce played on shytty teams with shytty teammates pre big 3.You can take Tatum off the current Celtics and it would still be the best Celtics team pre big 3 going back to the 80s. Unfair comparison.
Celtics wouldve had a squad around Pierce when he was 27/28/29 he wouldve showed out in the playoffs
And no I dont Tatum is better than Pierce at his best(yet).

You need to stop letting your personal bias cause you to use you fairly intelligent brain to type of essays with cherry-picked stats and clear slant to make a point. Why the fukk would you mention any game where Kobe was a teenager to start? And then you use an injury riddled 2005? Like what was in your head when you typed this shyt? How does that have anything to do with a playoff game that was in reach with another star on your team? Bron has 40 points. If Tatum is just average they win. None of the games you posted represent any of that. Most see you as a Bron stan so they just ignored it but I got 2 minutes this morning. The knock on Tatum is that sometimes he seems out of it, everyone has bad games, it’s different than looking like you’re high out there and disengaged.
