Is it worth it to buy Diablo 2?

I remember back in '05 when my college roommates and I sat up a lan and did a 12-24 hour grind just for the fun of it. Went from Act 1 to 5 only talking breaks to hit the dining court

So many all-night runs fighting Diablo on Hell mode.

This thread makes me want to download Path of Exile since it's more of a spiritual successor than Diablo 3.

Path of Exile is too easy. You can't raise the difficulty until you beat it so it becomes boring.
