you're gonna sit on this internet and tell me the only times you eat eggs or toasted bread is at breakfast?

also something being a staple doesnt mean thats the only time you have it. bacon, sausage, cinnamon rolls etc...arent only eaten at breakfast. so this idea that its insane to eat grits at any other time is retarded
Yes, most people are only eating eggs and toast at breakfast outside of deviled eggs. But yes cats are wrong saying grits is limited to breakfast.
now brunch is only southern :mjlol:

and i think you might have problems reading

and even if we fried fish in the morning, whats the difference between that and frying chicken with waffles? yall northen nikkas keep exposing how cac influenced yall are
Chicken and waffles isn't an up north or cac thing though.

Spaghetti is an entire meal that already full of meat and starches that if anything is served with salad on the side.

Somehow ya'll combined three separate meals into one. :dead:
All spaghetti doesn't have meat...I eat spaghetti without it.

Another thing that was probably regional is chicken and waffles. Before the chicken and waffle restaurants start popping up 10/15 years ago in Chicago, we weren’t eating chicken and waffles like that. And I didn’t know any black family growing up eating it until it crossed over and became a national trend. Now, chicken and waffles has sort of become synonymous with soul food but we didn’t grow up on it like that. It was probably originally a Georgia/Carolina thing.

It was started in NYC but I remember first hearing about chicken and waffles at Roscoes in the 80s

:yeshrug: I'm a NY'er, the delicatessen is a major food group.

We mistakenly received some smoked salmon (a deli staple, usu eaten raw or uncooked or something on bagels :scusthov:) from whole foods. I fried that bytch up and put it over some grits. :ahh: :lawd:
