We don't own land...which is the easiest thing to own...

We don't own these multinational conglomerates that been around forever like GE, ATT...

We don't own these new multi-national conglomerates like Apple and Microsoft

We didn't get into the DotCom boom...talking about Google, AOL, Netscape, Paypal

We didn't go into the secondary Dotcom boom, talking about Myspace, Facebook, Netflix

We didn't create any of these cryptocurrencies...

Everything that created massive wealth and wealth inequality...Black people weren't apart of...

I think about shyt like this everyday.

Thats why sometimes I feel like saying "fukk it"

Sometimes I feel its over.

Like its 2018.... Too late to turn things around at this point.

The only thing that seems realistic is just stack my money individually.

I want a legacy but I dont even wanna bring a child into this world just for them to be placed on the bottom of society.

Even if youre black & got some money and power... You still have to be surrounded by cacs because they own & control everything ... Its fukking depressing

Black folks aint got shyt man.

Yes its too late partly because our collective image/reputation has been destroyed worldwide.

This is one of the most eye-opening and heartbreaking threads I've ever read on the coli:

Black Business Owners Pretending their Businesses are White Owned

We literally have to resort to HIDING ourselves in order for the public to patronize black businesses.

This is because our image has been systematically destroyed over the course of time.

Our image has been manipulated to where "blackness" is synonymous with laziness, unintelligence and overall inferiority & criminality.

Our image has been fukked up to the point where even black people adopt the "white mans ice is cooler" mentality :wow:

I hope I'm wrong tho.

I agree with you 100%

Everyone thinks black is inferior.

Even black people.

Of course, we can have individual success with any business/industry we decide to enter.

But is it too late to become a dominating force in any industry as a collective?

Seems like every industry is already controlled/occupied by another group.

Of course we can get individual pieces of the pie.... But is there any industry that we can dominate as a collective?

Like when you think hair & beauty supply industry... You think about the asians.

When you think about media/sports/entertainment... You think about jews/cacs.

Cacs and other minorites got tech on lock.

Etc etc

These other groups been gettin money for decades, centuries

Seems late in the game :mjcry:

Is the "black business/economics" thing basically a fantasy?

Not necessarily. All it would take is a large capital raise, which can be done almost overnight via a mass social media campaign, then target a sector to get into. Agriculture and manufacturing are still the yellow brick roads to independence and power. And there’s still plenty of land for sale and Black people need everything.

If not on this forum where you can speak anonymously.. where would you speak on this?

I think all opinions are welcome on these, including the ones who lay the blame at black people for not already having achieved this
She's not going to speak on it cuz she has already said that black men have failed black people worldwide & is afraid of getting banned

We have many hurdles and when new industries do pop often we are blocked out of it and they dont offer any Grant's to even allow us the chance to take part, society knows our position and actively moves to keep us in the same position, we grind for the next generation and really only chip at the crust, we havent even tasted the pie yet.

Why not make moves in Haiti since you claimed to be so proud of your Haitian side?

You could wife one of the baddest women in Haiti and have opportunities available to you in a developing nation that you won’t have here

Attitude?

Reality, it's not an attitude I have that we have allowed white people to - until this day - divide us as a people my brother
:picard: allowed?

:gucci:

I understand the frustration but I'm not one to subscribe to the defeatist attitude (yes, attitude) considering black people keep on succeeding in spite of countless genocides.

In terms of making mega companies that whites and Asians have done, yeah its pretty much too late. Any black owned companies will not get much startup capital or investments to grow past a certain stage.

Compete? Yes. Open a business in general, no! I think competition hinders us in some capacity, especially when you consider we don't have the same starting point most of the time. Just focus no creating stable businesses that function well instead of beating out the competition and we will be good.

Not at all, the problem is too many of our people spend their time measuring themselves against these other groups.

Majority of corporations are only billion dollar corporations because their cost to operate is at a bare minimum at it's finest.

They use Chinese slave labor, India slave labor, Prison slave labor and wager large debt/loans which will never be granted by our people at a size volume. They go to other countries, steal their resources. Then created the stock market to basically fukk everyone else who is not a part of that class.

We has black people will strive business wise when we come to an understanding of this disadvantage and how this is setup and figure out ways to create cheap labor ourselves.

But how many of us are willing to go to let's say Africa and almost enslave our own people to find cheap labor.

When we are ready to stop measuring ourselves to these other groups and begin creating businesses with fair play for our people has a whole to work and create products without the selfish element involved. We will easily get there but right now the world is upside down and everyone is too consumed in materialism to see, just because we live in the 1% of the world wealth does not mean majority of individuals on this planet are living good lives with fair pay neither.

I'm strictly talking competing with billionaires. Please take some time and look up what businesses use corporations like Foxconn, or even prison labor and using robots to replace humans out right. Those are just 2 very small elements to the true secrets and value behind these corporations so many of you idealize.

No, it will take a lot of time but it is possible. Business is one of the only things where we can catch up. I've come to the conclusion that government (nation-states) is the only thing where we cannot catch up to them. Nuclear weapons and military are the only things out of reach. Everything else is still attainable through time.
