Is it too late for black folks to compete in business?

Of course, we can have individual success with any business/industry we decide to enter.

But is it too late to become a dominating force in any industry as a collective?

Seems like every industry is already controlled/occupied by another group.

Of course we can get individual pieces of the pie.... But is there any industry that we can dominate as a collective?

Like when you think hair & beauty supply industry... You think about the asians.

When you think about media/sports/entertainment... You think about jews/cacs.

Cacs and other minorites got tech on lock.

Etc etc

These other groups been gettin money for decades, centuries

From what I know (anyone correct me if I’m wrong),Asians are up next globally and then after their run and how much they use Africa, Black people could have an opening.

It's never too late. You got people coming over here from overseas and prospering with their own businesses all the time. Black folks just gotta put the time and money in.

I have my reasons but it’s a good conversation. I think recognizing what the personal obstacles are that prevents us from moving as a collective.

We are great for individual successes but moving as a group is something we lack. So once we have figured that out, things will fall in place.

To even CONSIDER running anything, we need to be able to organize AND appreciate another black man winning.

Do you guys GENUINELY see this happening? Will black people wake up and see we've been manipulated into more likely flipping out when a black men steps on our shoe than truly flipping out when a cop kills one of us? I don't see it happening. In-fighting = stagnation = other races run the show.

Black businesses are steadily growing Look into the numbers, not what people are saying about it. If there is an industry we have a shot at being a major factor in, I would say healthcare. If im not mistaken, about a third of all black own business are health services.

We didn't get into the DotCom boom...talking about Google, AOL, Netscape, Paypal

We didn't go into the secondary Dotcom boom, talking about Myspace, Facebook, Netflix

We didn't create any of these cryptocurrencies...

Everything that created massive wealth and wealth inequality...Black people weren't apart of...


Know why we didn't do any of these things...because it cost money to do these things...

It costs money to go college...to get the expertise to do these things...

It cost money to be going to private school all your life...so you are ahead of everybody...

It cost money to be around people with money to fund your shyt...

It cost money to even start your shyt...

Money creates more money...

If you don't have money...then you can't get money...

What determines how rich you are and rich you are gonna be are the people you come from...

I am talking about your grandparents, great grandparents, your great grandparents...

What your great uncles used to do...

What time period they were born in...

Descendants of Slaves were born in a period of capitalist expansion, that we couldn't be involved in because we were slaves...

Therefore...everybody else.....had a headstart...

And we were never compensated for this...so we have nothing go off of...

If you are Black and descendant of a slave...you are part of a class that has absolutely nothing to their name. You don't even have your name

Only group of Black people that have money in the USA are Baby Boomers and celebrities...everybody else is poor. Baby boomers came up in the biggest middle class expansion in history and celebrities are highly paid salaried motherfukkers.

Poor people don't create businesses and succeed like that...you've been lied too...

Like that's not realistic...

Yes its too late partly because our collective image/reputation has been destroyed worldwide.

This is one of the most eye-opening and heartbreaking threads I've ever read on the coli:

We literally have to resort to HIDING ourselves in order for the public to patronize black businesses.

This is because our image has been systematically destroyed over the course of time.


Our image has been manipulated to where "blackness" is synonymous with laziness, unintelligence and overall inferiority & criminality.

Our image has been fukked up to the point where even black people adopt the "white mans ice is cooler" mentality
