Lets not be too reactionary.

Lets just have a little shoot around before the game starts,do a few dunks for the fans.

But this new movie Sinners might be up there.

FruitVale was a really good movie.

Judas and the Black Messiah? I preffered this movie and portrayl over X.

Creed was a great popcorn flick, not a single one was bad.

Black Panther? Not my favorite of the marvel films but neither are duds.

Sinners, let it marinate. His diversity needs to be discussed. Along with the fact he simply dont make duds:respect:

Back-to-back for the brehs and young who were unaware

That's almost a decade of hit films. No diss to Coogler at all, but in no way.

Nope.

Who was Spike Lee compared to in his day? No one. Maybe Scorsese.

Its time to see if the next generation has met or outperformed the last generation.

For example, I dont think Christoper Nolan is better than Stanley Kubrick.

But that conversation is happening, as it should be.

Also, Spike Lee released his first major picture at 29.

Ryan Coogler released Fruitvale Station at 26. He's 38 now
