I happened across the set of Pixels when I was out last summer - they'd shut down a bunch of streets to film it. If anyone can get people to hate universally loved and internationally recognized cultural icons like Pac Man, it would be Adam Sandler.

They played the trailer and I was genuinely interested in the reaction. Maybe 5 or 6 people laughed out of the 100 or so people in the theatre. That's the audience for the film right there
