Yeah I took my mom out to dinner when I came out to her. That way it was a relatively civil conversation, and I think she understood a bit where I was coming from. She stay in the church too, so I can relate to ya. It's your moms man, she'll deal.

as a matter of fact, thank you for reminding me to watch the rest. i got halfway thru then i had to make a move. i'll finish up later today hopefully. but when i watched what i thought was the case...was the case. one side had people who knew what they heck they were talking about, while the other side was shaky even in their own beliefs. never fails.
i've heard discussions/debates like this before. where the religious side had the stronger people by far. and even then i turned it off because its an unfair discussion. its lopsided. we listeners wont get anywhere with that type of setup. and i'm not saying its always done on purpose. people put out flyers trying to get people to come to these things. if the light weights show up for your side, it is what it is.
OH and let me add. notice how you so called NON BELIEVER. are quick to call a BELIEVER, to stubborn to listen to facts. but the moment a BELIEVER brings to you something that isnt in line with what YOU BELIEVE to be true, you go crazy. you just said in your own words
wait a second, as a lover of science. shouldnt you be glad that i attempt to VALIDATE my creationist THEORY with what i believe to be true. see the last reply i made to the other poster. that validates my THEORY. but because you dont believe my THEORY to be true. you REFUSE to listen to any sort of validation i may have in regards to said theory. this means you are just as close minded as you say i am. again you have your own religion. its call the religion of non religion.
