Is It Time For A Spawn Reboot?

I love Spawn, really one of the only black comic characters I fukked with. Blasphemous anti-hero is right up my alley but the books are not well written at all. There were some bright spots in the early days, like first 50 or so issues before Todd burned a bunch of bridges and could hire big name writers like Alan Moore but thats about it. You go to Spawn for the dope art and aesthetics. The most interesting turn in the books was a few years ago when it took on a horror vibe for a little while. They've played with it before in the past and almost all the best bits are usually horror in tone.
The HBO show probably the most consistent and best piece of media to have the Spawn name. Todd kinda fukked up not doing more of that. There were rumors and I think art too for a long ass time for a potential sequel/new seasons but it never happened.
I'm being hard but there's still a lot of fun in the comics, just turn your brain off and enjoy the dope. The new run of King Spawn, Gunslinger and Scorched pretty good so far. Spawn Universe forever.

Wish they'd bring back Godslayer Spawn. That was my shyt.
