Yea tis is truth...

A lot of black couples I know have been together for 5-10 years, moved in together, got children but ARENT married.

Black people don't value marriage as much as other races do...

You mean black people dont have social, peer and societal pressures to get married like other races.

Are you black?

Wouldn't divorce devalue marriage more than not getting married?

More of my friends in long-term relationships are married than not. And if they aren't married, they at least don't have kids.

Coming from a family where my parents are black and got married before they had me and my sister . Both me and my sis feel the same way so its not ALL black American families.

Other races aren't that well off either. I know a guy at work who's mexican marrying an indian chick in July who will be already 5 months preggo then. And the amount of single moms/un wed families are pretty even at my workplace race-wise.
