Why do people put so much emphasis on marriage? I never made it out to be such a big deal.
I know some women feel like if they don't get married they failed at life, smh. Not that serious.

But is being married necessary when raising a family. They can just be together.

to me it's important.
i wouldn't let my daughters grow up seeing me "play house" with a man who wasn't willing to make that symbolic vow to not only me ...but also THEM. that's just me tho...
