Is it possible to write a TV show that truly surprises audiences in the internet era?

People want spoilers and leaks so it's kind of hard to do that I never understood why people want that shyt instead of just watching the show

It's the difference between experiencing Jon's resurrection organically vs. reading a bunch of theories stating "Jon HAS TO come back because XYZ..."

Luckily, the execution was still piff so it didn't matter.

I think the problem with most shows is that they go on too long, like too many seasons. Some ideas are really only good for short runs, not 4 seasons. I’d prefer that as well just because we need less sequels and more standalone, one off films.

Everyone’s always bent on making money off of one idea instead of just being creative in general...
