the problem you're oging to run into is breeding.
Let's say you and your wifey move over there. Have kids, Who are they going to have kids with? The indigenous people right? So over time your bloodline/genetics would get watered down and eventually drowned out by the indigenous people's blood over a few generations.

If you brought you and 10 families then you could interbreed with those families ONLY. Which would result in a lot of mentally retarded children eventually.

If say you took a whole large community that could support multiple generations of marriages within a particular "race" let's say then I would imagine over the course of a few thousand years that it could happen where they could become more dark skinned (if they moved near the equator). If you took a village of chinese people and moved them to lets say the Congo. You'd not see those chinese people get black and have large lips though. They might gain a tan but they'd never just turn into africans.

It's actually not that easy of a question....
What would happen to the population of a Chinese village where they to all of a sudden be transported into the heart of africa over 10k years, 100k years?

inbreeding isn't a good idea, but honestly it happens a lot in the natural world. and the biggest risks would come right away (when there's the least amount of genetic variation), not "eventually"

that's what i'm saying. The genetics just isn't there. And to the best of my knowledge a Chinese man wouldn't evolve African facial features unless they provided some type of environmental benefit and then that "evolution" would actually be a mutation that was advantageous (i.e. got him more yang)

I mean, nothing's guaranteed. but the odds get better the further the family makes it. the initial incest between siblings, or parent and child, is going to be the most dangerous

we all have 2 parents, 4 grandparents, 8 great-grandparents, etc. the problem with that is eventually you get to a number that's greater than the world population. the answer to that dilemma is that many of your ancestors were the same person

yeah, that's what I was saying about different 'paths'. we are the way we are because of the specific circumstances that came before us. if you change any of those circumstances, you really can't expect the same results

the Chinese left Africa and that water is under the bridge. they will never again be a pre-human evolving in Africa
