Lets say a Asian person moves to West Africa, would it be possible for that Asian to adapt to that new environment and then evolve to look like native west africans?

if it is, over what time period?

are we talking ten's of thousands or hundreds of thousands?

there could be significant change in a few 1000 years. it all depends on the strength of the environmental pressures, and how much change you're looking for

the type of change that I'm talking about is that this new group would pretty much have evolved to look the indigenous population in that area...

I'm not gonna front like I have a definitive answer to that. the person and their ancestors would have to live in the same conditions the indigenous people evolved in. in other words, completely exposed to the environment and away from all our modern technology. and there's still no guarantee they would turn out 'the same'. just because evolution took one path in the past, doesn't mean it would take the exact same path at another point in time. although I think over time the people would probably look very similar
