SMF and LAX to VA and NC
My aunt and them live at Slauson/Ruthelen, 4 bed 2 bath, valued at $636,000, ~1600 sq feet...

Similar spots in the hood in Sacramento are anywhere from 1 to a quarter million cheaper...

The average South Central home looks in the range of $6-800k, while some go as high as a mil and a handful in that $3-400k range...

The average North Sac home is in the $3-400 range. That's about the same here in Raleigh...

Man, I was thinking about moving to that block back in 2018. Fix me up houses were less than $300k at the time.

Drove by the area a few times around that time and everything.

Would've been prime real estate, only thing that would've been annoying is 90th backs up heavy in that neighborhood when there are games and events.

That said, I do think it's possible to buy a house here even with the current prices. It may be a little smaller and you definitely get more of your money's worth out in Orange County tbh.
