Is it me or in 2K15, is it extremely hard to hit the sweet spot when shooting?

Cosign. Meter is off. Maybe it will be fixed in the next patch, but for now cut it off and release at the apex of the shooting motion. You'll get plenty of green releases.

I just turned it off and went into practice mode. now with the meter on, I'm missing a gang of shots.

with it off, I'm shooting like I did on the old 2K's and I'm making the majority of shots I should it.

played a few games yesterday without the shot meter, and I'm consistently hitting open mid range shots. I guess it's easier to play off instincts than to use that stupid meter.

Why do people play with the shot meter on?

When you shoot with a guy for awhile you get a feel for his shot and just know when to release the ball...

I mean unless you some cheesey ass dude who just goes in saying "I got to get it in the green all the time"

I love the shot meter, it just takes practice. Once you get a feel for how certain players release, it just becomes a matter of memory. I like it, hope it stickks

dude, I HATE shooting with the right analog stick. I want that dedicated to dribbling only. I use the buttons for everything. you can do floaters, step backs, and hop steps all with the square button. the ONLY time I use the right analog stick is when I drive the baseline, and want to do a reverse layup.

in addition to turning off the shot meter, I watched this video on my tv while mimmicking the video on the picture in picture in real time in practice mode.

I am now EASILY beating the CPU off the dribble with a plethora of moves.

The meter is distracting but the feeling you get when you get that perfect release and see the meter turn green is the GOAT. :banderas:

I'm still struggling to shoot with the Knicks though because the meter is distracting. :mjcry:

Dropped 47 on some dude with Melo yesterday though. :win: I had 22 in the 1st quarter and went 6-6 from 3 with all of them being perfect releases. Wanted to go for 50 but dude quit. :beli:

Then I dropped 31 with him the game after. :win:
