I think both sides are still speaking on it I mean this front page alone has majority political topics. 4/10 people like his picks now you can say it’s a small pool of people or you can say people aren’t liking the picks. What do you want to see republicans getting upset or having buyer’s remorse for voting for him does that get your socks off or something

Another side to it is that the Right no longer can blame or fall back on "wokeness" or "the Left" for any problems that happen in the country anymore. In other words, inflation can no longer be blamed on "the Left." The job and housing market can no longer be blamed on "the Left." Men struggling to get p*ssy or find a girlfriend can no longer blame "the Left." Bad foreign policies can no longer be blamed on "the Left."
And I think, in a convoluted way, certain Right Wingers enjoyed making Biden or the Democrats a deep state "Boogie Man" that they can blame all of their problems on.
Now, with Trump as President and the Republican dominance in the White House and the dismantling of DEI and Affirmative Action policies as well as Right Wing media being at its peak in dominance on television(Fox), Youtube, Twitter, radio, podcasts, Twitch streams, etc., there's no "supervillain" for them to be able to scapegoat anymore and they actually are now forced to answer to the GOP's problems and failures.
It's sort of like how MCU fans felt about watching the movies after Thanos got defeated in Endgame.
The Right doesn't thrive off of their own policies. They thrive off of having a Liberal incumbent "villain" that they can scapegoat and use to justify being Far Right Nazi dirtbags. You see White men blaming so-called "wokeness" for them turning to the dark side but they can't even use that as an excuse anymore. It was already a piss poor excuse from the get go but now they have to own up to the fact that they were already racist and misogynistic on their own and they feel Trump validates them.

Previously, an avid political television viewer and I mean all broadcasts (CNN, msnbc, fox news, etc) and now, since the election, I've not watched one second of any of them. Complete waste of time really.

I personally hope Trump does everything he said he was going to do. Tariffs, deregulation, and mass deportations. All 3 will destroy the country. If that's what MAGA wants then let it be so. Maybe we can rebuild something better once we get past this retarded era.
That shyt's only getting undone if a liberal dictator/authoritarian left party takes control. If they did, they'd have the power to unilaterally do the following:
1. Turn the supreme court into a body staffed with judges that have been voted for in congress rather than appointments. This is after a full purging of the existing court.
2. Give the court justices a term limit of no more than 10 years.
3. Standardize education across all the states, tossing out all the propaganda and replacing the books with actual American history that shows the good and the bad written from all perspectives, the white supremacists who thought their racism was correct, and the people who resisted it. Too many people learn that america stopped being racist once MLK Jr. arrived and that it wasn't woven into the fabric of this country from the beginning.
4. A tax rate resembling what was present in the 40s and post-ww2 period.
5. Fines tied to a percentage of income for any social media platform that allows misinformation on its platform. The fine doubles with each infraction(e.g. first time is 10% of income for the fiscal quarter. Next fine is 20% of income, the next fine is 40% of their income and if they get to a point where they've been fined 80% then it becomes nationalized since they clearly cannot follow the law)
6. All nazis and magats who have actually committed crimes are sent to prison camps to do the kind of jobs that the immigrants they kicked out were doing and for the wages they were paid.
7. Prosecution of all companies found to be engaging in wage theft. A massive increase in the budget of the IRS and SEC to eliminate economic malfeasance.
8. A ban of lobbying of any kind.
9. A requirement that before running for office, people should spend no less than 5 years working in the private sector making the average wage or living on unemployment benefits.
10. An age limit on who can run for office. 65 is a hard limit. If you hit 65 while in office you become an "advisor" but your VP takes over and their replacement is voted on by the party.
11. Strict fines on union busting attempts.
12. An immediate federal investigation if any unarmed person is killed by the police. The federal govt fines the police department and uses the acquired funds to compensate the family of the victim.
13. A new network of state colleges and universities funded by the federal govt and subsidies for colleges and universities who can produce graduates from poor or minority backgrounds.
14. Aggressive anti-pollution regulation and a cut in fossil fuel subsidies with that money being redirected to infrastructure and the greening of grids all over the country.
15. A new law stating that no money can be sent to a country that is violating international law. This means that any funds planned to go to Israel are IMMEDIATELY frozen and reallocated to healthcare and public services right here.
16. Massive expansion in Child Tax payments, Medicare, and a public option that includes access to mental health treatment.

The things that stand in the way of progress are: Filibusters, lobbying, online misinformation, lack of funding for public schools, unelected officials being able to affect policy, states being allowed to refuse federal funds and then blame the same party in charge of the federal government offering those funds as the reason why the state's citizens are suffering.
Doing all of that shyt would require fundamental changes to our system and there will be HEAVY pushback from millionaires and billionaires and racists. People will have to go to jail, be censored, and crash out but its the only way. Ironically, by destroying the democratic structures in place and all the checks and balances that prevent a dictatorship, MAGA will have successfully laid the groundwork for a liberal authoritarian to do everything I listed above. They'll have to make amendments and laws that are going to be EXTREMELY difficult if not impossible to get rid of just like the affordable care act)
