The Avenger movies and Cap 3 pretty much been as close to what we've ever seen of what we loved in comic books or the cartoons coming to real life.

I dont dislike the "real reality take" direction that some have chose to go in.... but I think that works best with characters that dont have any power or are just regular humans with weapons.

But when it comes to now creating something with powers and magic and enchanced abilities and we are suspending our disbelief to see creatures and aliens that we cant be like "hey thats not what a Chitarria alien looks like in real like, thats cgi verse if someone made a cgi apple and the argument can me made that "oooooh real apples are green and red, thats purple, thats not real and CGI"

I dont wanna do that. I love just suspending all disbelief of EVERYTHING and enjoying the ride.

I think its dope to see all these guys fight in "inhuman" ways cause in a sense and in "their reality" they are more than mere humans and the laws and realities are different from ours.

Also, I love costumes and I wish cats would get over the "but that looks corny I dont wanna see that" shyt. I dont wanna see wolverine fight in jeans and a wife beater I dont wanna see other characters out of their iconic wardrobe and fighting in tshirts, jeans and leather coats.

Look if other fiction movies that arent based on comics but deal with futuristic, fantasy, etc elements and they can wear costumes dont see why it couldnt work for the actual comic book movie characters.... just as long as they make it look cool.

I wanna see this shyt as close to how it would be if I'm watching the cartoon and reading the comic

That's the problem with CGI now. Like, the quality is objectively better than 20 years ago in every way, but because it's so advanced now studios can go completely overboard with shyt and it all winds up looking faker than the old stuff. Like with Jurassic World.

As much as I love Civil War, it's a really ugly movie visually because of the bad CGI.

hulk looked good but that alien whale and iron man looked like a game cut scene, villians looked very green screened.

Yup, it's the frame rate that makes it look off. Any CGI heavy film is going to look wonky if you start fukking with the frame rate.

That's alotta CGI movies. The characters feel superimposted and apart from the atmosphere. shyt don't even feel that crisp all in the same focus in real life, you gotta turn your eye to it and get closer.

And i think it's also cause it's hard to improve debris in CGI so it creates a bad contrast

i remember seeing the total recall remake on a screen in Best Buy and noticing the same thing.

That scene looks both amazing and terrible at the same time to me. Like the CG looks too real to the point the point where it looks really fake.
