Is it me or do you get better hospital treatment when u got insurance?

having worked in healthcare for the past 8 years damn near, its just something I really noticed.

and when I am talking insurance, I'm not talking about medicare/medicaid, cuz health care providers really don't off that.

but I have noticed throughout the years of me having to take my kids to the hospital for various ailments, that whenever we head to the university of chicago hospitals, that waiting room stay packed. and it be cats in there with gun shot wounds. yet we always be in there quick as hell. hell, I remember I took my wife there once with a simple allergic reaction to some chinese food and they seen her first. and I gots to believe its cuz we got insurance. and these days we double times cuz I got PPO and she got PPO too, so I'm walkin in there like like I own the joint cuz I know I got piff insurance and we ain't gonna be in there 24+ hours like at the county hospital which is only a mile away from the good hospital.

man, my wife took my kids to the dentist out here this summer, and when she busted out double dental PPO's, they quickly tell her they ain't fully booked anymore and both of my kids can be seen the same day.

Don't nobody feel like dealin with someone that gives you an iffy feeling when it comes to getting paid.

I work in a dentists office. Muh fukkas with no insurance always want top notch treatment and then only make 1-2 payments and you never hear from them again.

Our office manager dont play that shyt though. Send y'all some bills and after that second notice she takin that shyt to collections. Pay up or they fckin up your credit

they had these fresh ass $800 pair of Versace's
so I call dude over and I'm like "I want those"

him: "those are $800 sir, you know that right? these just came in"

my boy looked at me and then at dude like

me: *buss out insurance card* "I heard you guys take this type of insurance plan"

my boy to dude:

him: "come here have a seat we'll set you right up"

his whole demeanor changed after I pulled the card out
copped them bytches for $125 + $25 for the eye exam

walked out with the smugness

man, I missed my scheduled dentist appointment due to me switching jobs and not having vacation time yet and they was callin me like crazy to re-schedule. mind you, I was only covered under the wife's ppo at that time. but now when I go in there they gon be like cuz I got both insurances.
