2004 was awesome for me it was the first time i voted and seeing all the sad college kids made my day. They held a eulogy at school i loved every minute of it

what goes around comes around...

we'll have our day in the sun again...but i know it hurt liberals that they couldn't defeat Bush and its the same hurt where no matter what we can't say we beat Obama and after Obama if republicans win presidency in 2016 i feel like it won't feel as good as it would had we defeated Obama in 2012...it will always sting

Like the diamondbacks beating the yankees in 2001 or red sex coming back in 2004 can't erase those memories lol

Your post is a lot of what's wrong with politics, albeit, perhaps unintentionally. People need to stop treating politics like bloods and crips or like they're rooting for their favorite team and just go with what the better option is.

I was mad when Bush one because I didn't think he was the right guy for the country (and I was right). I couldn't vote at the time though. I was only a sophomore in high school. But it wasn't on some "damn they got us this time guys." Hyper-partisanship is never a good thing. The reason people are still sour over Bush has more to do with his enduring legacy than any sense of "damn we couldn't beat him." If Obama is successful in his second term and goes out with a majority approval rating like Clinton, why in the world would you be walking around like :mitt:?
