My girl is 27 and keeps talking like it's a done deal. "When we get married, we're gonna need a bigger house." Sh!t like that. I actually started hitting her with broad-type excuses like:

Marriage before 30 is simply out of the equation. Plus I know there will still be plenty of available single women by the time I'm ready to even consider it.

Getting my finances in order and moving up in my career is my priority in my 20s right now.

I only say 30 because I'll be working at my desired job for a couple years, take time to travel, etc. I just want to make sure I'm secure in my finances and career before committing to that

I mean a lot of women are getting married 30+, who cares? When you're ready to get married, you're ready.

and fertility rates hit a wall by 35
