They need to get some games on active streaming sites like twitch, which will probably come with the amazon deal.

It seems like a drop in the bucket viewer wise, but a lot of kids don't really watch tv like that nowadays, they're on the internet.

No. Basketball is just having a down year. It happens but you can make an argument the NBA only seems bad because this past baseball season was compelling as fukk especially if you live in the tri-state.

The other thing is Gen Z and Gen Alpha don't even watch TV like that.

A lot of NBA is consumed through streaming

Dallas, Texas but living in Houston, Texas
I’m a casual i don't watch at all anymore. Games seem lifeless probably because the hardcore fans are priced out. And the commercials :scust:. Same with all the big sports though

The stacked teams hurts too
I haven't been a hardcore fan of sports in about a decade but this is so true. Back in the day when I still lived in Dallas, I would attend a few Mavericks and Rangers games a year and at least one Cowboys game a season. The costs to attend games now is ridiculous.

It's not dying yet, but I do believe this current version of the game has reached diminishing returns :francis:

Something gotta change or this bubble is about to pop. The 2030s bout to be spooky, might be a bunch of no personality having robots running up and down the court shooting 3s....the spirit of the game is suffering right now :mjcry:

But even with that said I think the game will correct itself eventually, we just need THE ONE, a generational talent that can get us out of this matrix.....I fear he's not in the league yet :mjcry:

I probably attended the last major sports game of my life. Last time I shopped around not just the tickets were expensive, but all the hotels will jack up prices if your team is known to travel.

Yea the NBA has some huge issues once Bron and Steph are gone. Let’s be real here. The fact that the marquee matchup on Christmas was the Lakers and Warriors tells you all you need to know. The league is in trouble once they leave. The NBA used to be must see tv on Christmas

You got 6’9 nikkas spamming threes. nikkas flopping. nikkas not playing back to backs. The best whiteboys ain’t from here. Wack sneakers. They should at least push the season back and have most of it during the baseball season

Facts. The new NBA deal really is a result of Cavs-Dubs, The KD Dubs, Kawhi/Raptors, Lakers winning the bubble, Giannis/Bucks. All that happened between the last deal and now.

You’re an nba Stan, and I’m also starting to peep alotta y’all be shytting on the coli for daps

NBA YouTubers, Ex NBA players, fans, nba analysts are all saying the game is falling behind; yet you’re here calling us idiots because we don’t wanna watch this shyt lmao

U talkin bout contracts like that means shyt, there’s players in multiple leagues who done slapped the fukk out a hoe, and is still getting paid millions

Jayson Tatum ain’t getting paid 60m a year because that’s the revenue he helps the league get, it’s because of nikkas like MJ, Bird, Kobe, Curry and Bron

Y’all deadass be on some hoe shyt about this convo, if u upset we don’t like the league tell them to put out a better product
Didn’t even mention the fact most fans don’t know when star players will be on the court…

NBA fans are very sensitive about this topic as if their personal funds are tied to the league.

When nikkas start blaming The Coli for sports opinions that people all over the internet and outside in real life share, you know there's something to it....

All 1M viewers must of be coli users :troll:

Scrolled through all 14K comments and all those valid criticisms must be bots :troll:

Posters on here got their childhood tied to 90s/2000s NBA and it’s pathetically obvious

....
judging off their media deals, they will be fine. but they are in a transitional period. Often times when a crop of superstars age out of the league people wonder who is going to be next to carry the torch. Eventually somebody always ends up doing it. Problem is the league is more international now, and people are clinging to the idea that the next torch bearer has to be american. But that might not be the case

America should be ashamed of themselves for not wanting Giannis to take the lead.

Get it together America.
