Brazil is over rated. Alot of those "mixed" people look mid or just weird. I dont get all the hype. Only the dark ones look decent, or good and I'm not being bias, as I can appreciate a beautiful red girl, but Brazil is not it. Unless you like indigenous American women which is cool if that's your thing.

But yeah the more IR, the more the dark skin people disappear

Not everyone is the same skin color as Wesley Snipes or Viola Davis … you know this right?

Nah

This can be easily disproven but I’m not googling it right now

Negroes worried about looks instead of worried about losing more jobs to AI, Black folks sliding from being middle class to working class, racists trying to bring us all back to pre-Civil Rights Jim Crow, etc...

No it is not a Win for Black America, because that should not be a concern for us. No matter the shade of color our people are, we are still getting mistreated based on our race. I have light and dark skinned people in my family, and while colorism is a thing, it in the end does not change the fact that the overall society still considers Black the race as lesser and reinforces it with actions that harm us.

So becoming lighter over all is not a win for us, actually rising above the machinations of our oppressors is what would be a win for our people. Also, if you look at Brazil, you will see racism still exists there. Black people are still at the bottom, no matter the shade they possess. So it behooves us to focus on what is important, and that is not the shade we possess as a Black person.

Somewhere on an Xbox
so we just a stepping stone? something to be forgotten..
FYI, you aren't remembered just for being black, and there's a 99.99% chance that your descendants won't even remember you 3-4 generations down the line for ANYTHING.

You probably live as the average person does, and you'll probably be remembered as the average person is — very little or not at all.

The only people that are remembered are athletes, famous people, and people that were at the top of their respective fields that also contributed immensely to that field. Chances are that you aren't any of those, so I'd just come to terms with it and live your 50-100 years with that in the back of your mind.

Most people just leave behind an item or a house to remember them by. Maybe start there?
