both are very long. both have great cinematogaphy

I watched screeners for both and was still thoroughly entertained...the blu rays should do the trick. they arent like Star Wars or Everest where you gotta be immersed in it to feel it

Theatres of course. Directors about their craft make their films for the big screens.
The big screen and coupled with the sound make you more immersed, and you are less likely to be distracted like looking at your phone or whatever else you might do when watching something at home.

:what:

Did you really compare The Revenant to Everest?

Revenant definitely see in theaters.

Hateful too if you can but definitely revenant needs to be seen on the big screen

I'm not comparing the content of the films, but Everest is literally people climbing a mountain..it doesnt have the same effect on a tv as it would on the big screen with surround sound. if i watched that at home i would have hated it.

theater would benefit Revenant and Hateful 8, but i was saying it didnt hinder my experience not seeing them in theaters.

Hateful Eight, you could make a case for it. but The Revenant is all about immersion. Aside from Leo himself, it's driven by its beautiful scenery and sound effects, which you wanna experience in theaters.

I agree. I just stated that it didnt necessarily change my opinion. Still thought it was dope. If i saw it in theaters though I might be stanning it.
