Rakim was a better rapper but let's not put him up there on the same level as Nas ,Big ,Pac and Jay.

Biggie not on Jay/PAC/Nas level .. and it’s not like he WASNT lowkey the reason he died .. If he kept his mouth shyt about PAC and stopped trying to be slick after PAC died .. he would still be here

He has three albums of his own shyt(Ready to Die, two discs of Life After Death)....he wrote Hard Core and the Junior Mafia and lot of No Way Out....not even counting Born Again.
Having a large discography full of mediocre filler like Jay and Nas aint that impressive. Jay has two great albums(Reasonable Doubt and Blueprint) and a solid amount of good songs onsoso albums. Same goes for Nas....he has two great and one good album and a bunch of huff.
