why would you do low carb on a vegan diet? Something tells me you eat a lot of vegan junk. if you are eating plant based it would help with the belly

Not really eating bad -- I could do a lot better though.

Maybe, I don't eat enough. I take addy (Type II ADD/Inattentive) - so I force myself to eat a lot. I also had my gallbladder out about 5 years ago - and I have some digestive issues (IBS) and because of that I am very cautious about what I eat - mainly checking ingredients. I'm not overweight - I need to tone up and drop the lower pooch - and I think it's weak abs and posture/anterior tilt.

I thought about low carb vegan - due to a friend of mine doing it and she lost some weight. She does weight more but I saw that it was working and it made me wanna find out more.

I am a picky eater and pretty boring when it comes to food - so I eat the same thing over and over. I only cook and switch up when I am in a relationship - other than that -- I keep it simple and easy.

I only eat a small breakfast, usually small or no lunch -- but dinner every night. Sometimes I eat just once a day - and that's usually dinner.

A typical day and what I usually eat - I tend to not switch up from this:

Breakfast: Spinach Slam Smoothie (spinach, frozen pineapples or mangos and freshly juiced apple juice) or sliced Red Apple with pink salt and KIND Maple Granola 1-2 cups

Lunch: Usually not really hungry around lunch - but I usually make myself eat a Banana or some soup. I love Amy's Organic Soup - maybe not the best - but it's quick and delicious. Or I make Green Lemonade (kale, lemon, apple, celery) in juicer or drink some type of Arden's Garden juice or smoothie.

Dinner Options are usually:
Soup and Mixed Greens Salad with Slice Strawberries with Walnuts (no dressing) Light Olive Oil
Kale Salad with Raisins and Goji Berries, Onions (Nutritional Yeast, Olive Oil and Amino Acids added in)
Gluten Free Linguine with Olive Oil and Red Pepper Flakes
Amy's Soup - Light Sodium Vegetable Lentil, Black Bean Soup or Low Sodium Split Pea Soup
Veggie Fajitas (Sautéed Egg Plant, Zucchini, Red/Green Peppers, Red Onion, Spinach, Corn) with Gluten Free Flour Tortillas with Franks Hot Sauce
Spicy Plantain Black Bean Tacos
Spinach and Potato Tacos

I drink about 2-3 liters of water per day - sometimes more. Pop every now and then - but I keep it water and fresh juice from juicer.

Sorry saw this after. See below:

More strength and hypertrophy training (the pump)...sleep and up water intake

Do you have a beginner hypertrophy training workout you recommend? I googled but it was more than a few - and most just explained what it was. And if using free weights - what should be the heaviest dumbbell weight used - since I'm doing higher reps?

In the tone of trying to help. I feel safe in saying 30 grams of carbs a day is impossible vegan while eating anywhere near appropriate calories.

I totally agree. That's why I asked about switching temporary to low carb vegetarian (adding eggs and dairy). But, I'm good - I'm going to just concentrate on toning and building muscle. Thanks for all your help

Well I asked cuz a lot of foods that are both healthy and vegan are high in carbs. If you had a big ass salad and it included a cup of broccoli a cup of kale and a cup of spinach thats like 14 carbs alone not including any nuts seeds or dressings you may add and no one will say that those foods will make you fat. Low carb on a vegan lifestyle just seems almost impossible. Low fat high carb is the wave. Ive seen results in myself but my girl and her friends first which what made me switch up my diet. If I were you I'd try cutting out the smoothies and instead actually eating your fruit. I'm a little biased tho i've never been a fan of smoothies and they never made me full. You might find yourself more satisfied eating your fruit. and then just try cutting out the oil. but low carb vegan diet doesnt sound like it would help you and i dont think adding dairy would help your stomach area shyt it might increase bloating

also i feel u on the adderall i been there too what worked for me was IF cuz after a while it sucked forcing myself to eat on a schedule

Google "women's circuit training program"
Fat for women is stubborn...wamna keep the workouts short but intense with superset

I don't have any I can recommend

It wouldn't hurt you to add a lil more healthy fats to your eating regimen.

Im vegetarian & just lost 11lbs in a 3 week period.

I do eat alot of eggs though but only egg whites.
Buy a carton of egg whites & steel cut oats and banana, & some cinnamon powder., blend it and use that as batter for pancakes & use sugar free & fat free syrup from walden farms.
I eat that every morning man.
Filling, low fat, good protein & costs maybe less than $2.

Thanks! After posting this - I decided to continue being vegan. I am really not a fan of eggs or egg whites. I have lost 1 1/2 inches from my lower belly/stomach and 1% BF since I posted this.

I started doing Gyrotonics and solidcore - both focus on my weak ad muscles. So, @GinaThatAintNoDamnPuppy! was right!

Being vegan is the moral thing to do
Animal abuse is horrible

I try not to judge - as I really can't. As I ate meat for a long time - and I am an animal owner. I went vegan strictly because I had too. I had my gallbladder removed -and it lead to digestive issues, food allergies and IBS.

So, I had to cut out a lot of things due to my digestive health issues - once I did - things got a lot better for me health wise. I was always sick for a long time before I decided to go meat/poultry/fish, diary/cheese free. I went vegetarian first - then a few years later - I went vegan.
