Is giannis one of the NBA best ever scorer? Where does he rank among PF?

Would you guys consider giannis of the the elite top tier scorers in league history? For the past seven seasons the man has averaged no less than 26ppg per game along with good efficiency , he is one of the best finishers in history at the basket. This season he ranks first in scoring and has a very good chance to earn his first scoring title. I think he is very underrated as a scorer, meaning putting the ball in the hoop on a consistent efficient rate. Where do you guys have him rank all time as a PF? The only two clear guys i have above him all time are duncan and malone and if he wins a few more mvps and championships he can even be considered the best at his position. Thoughts? @murksiderock

He definitely is a great scorer and anyone debating it at this point is just being silly.

Now if your argument is that his shot profile/scoring diet is not as broad as some other people...FINE....but someone who operates in their wheelhouse and is EXCELLENT at it is better than a pedestrian *jack of all trades*

Strongly agree, i define scoring as putting the basket in the hoop consistently and at an efficient rate and the man has been doing that close to ten years in the league. To have averaged over 26 points the previous 7 seasons that's excluding his first team all defense on the other end of the court, its very impressive.
He has to be viewed already as a top 5-10 scorer in the league history

Thats the issue i dont get, why what is a clear strength and asset is downplayed and even sometimes insulted, bulldozing your way to the hoop and finishing at a good rate and shooting pretty mid range jumpers all account for the same number of points. I dont see how a man can be averaging over 26ppg for the previous seven seasons and is leads the league in scoring this season as well isnt an all time great scorer

Its insane to think there are people who dont consider kareem an all time scorer he had an unblock able shot, there is way too much value and emphasis placed on shooting midrange jumpers and threes that arent always efficient than actually putting the ball in the hoop at an efficient rate be it bulldozing to the rim to score

it's more impressive when you know a players success is depending on craft & the amount of work they put in

bron definitely has the physical gifts but he doesn't get pigeonholed because even you took away his athleticism & stature he'd still have the mind of an all time great floor general

players that rely on out & out athleticism get booted off the floor as soon as their physical attributes fade

it's a competitive sport but there is still an element of art & entertainment involved

I dont think the superstar part is fair to be honest, he has been averaging this for over seven seasons and he is one of the best ever at driving to the rim and finishing just off pure athleticism
